Where is the school located?
The school is located in Wimbledon, one of the most beautiful and safest areas of London. It takes only 20 minutes to get to central London. Click map.

Is the school close to public transport?
Yes, we are well served by buses (57, 93, 152, 200, 219, 493), tube (Northern Line and District Line) and National Railway.

How much does public transport cost?
As an example, a one week Travelcard for zones 1, 2 and 3 costs 28.40 GBP.

Do you provide free Internet access?
Yes, Internet use is free for all WLA students.

Course information
How many levels do you have?
We have 5 different levels ranging from Elementary to Advanced.

When can I start my course?
All of our General English courses begin every Monday so you can start your course at whatever time suits you.

How many students are there in a class?
There is an average of 10-15 students in a class.

How will you place me in the right class?
When you arrive at the school you will be given a placement test that will determine which class you are put in to.

What exams do you offer?
We offer preparation for the Key English Test (KET), the Preliminary English Test (PET), the Cambridge First Certificate (FCE), the Cambridge Advanced Certificate (CAE) and the IELTS exam.

Will I get a certificate at the end of my course?
Yes, you will get a certificate at the end of the course.

Enrolment information
How can I register at your school?
You can Enrol Online, or send your details by post, fax or e-mail. We need to know your full name, date of birth, when you want to start your course, when you want to study (morning, noon or afternoon) and for how long.

What do I have to do to receive an acceptance letter?
Once we receive fees to confirm your booking we will send you a Confirmation Letter.

Can you help me to apply for my visa?
The Confirmation Letter from the school will assist you in obtaining a visa.
 
 
How can I pay my tuition fee?
You can send payment by CREDIT CARD, BANK TRANSFER or CHEQUE.

If you are paying by CREDIT CARD, we recommend that you send your credit card details by fax because it is safer than e-mail. The information we need is:

• Credit card number
• Expiry date
• 3 digit security number on the back of the card
• Name on card
• Address where card bills are sent
