“When I came to England my English was very poor. I chose to study at the WLA and started progressing very quickly so I decided to do another course. The teachers who I met were really friendly and patient. I could borrow videos and books from the school and could improve my listening.

I went on almost every school trip so I was able to make many friends and have lots of fun. What I really liked was going to football matches because I enjoy watching them and it was a very good experience. As well as learning English I learned how to play table tennis!

The reason I improved my English was that there were not too many students in the class which gave me the opportunity to speak to the teachers whenever I needed to. Everyone was very nice to me and helped me to learn English in WLA making my time in London a wonderful experience.”
